You are cordially invited to the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Alabama Health Libraries Association to be held at the Levi Watkins Learning Center (LWLC) at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama, November 2, 2012.
The meeting is a one day event with the Annual Business Meeting, a panel presentation on the topic, “Best Practices for Promoting Library Services and resources,” and a presentation by the ASU Archivist, Dr. Howard Robinson. The presentation will highlight ASU in some of the significant historical moments of the modern Civil Rights Movement as well as the history of Montgomery, AL.
The day will begin with registration and breakfast reception in the LWLC Art Gallery on the 1st floor, 8:30-9:00am. We will use the Art Gallery for the Business Meeting and other activities.
Directions to the Levi Watkins Learning Center are available on the LWLC web page. Parking is located immediately behind the LWLC, see an older Aerial View of the campus. For those that register in advance, parking decals will be available at Registration. Carpooling is recommended.
