Alabama Health Libraries Association 2026 Annual Meeting

You are cordially invited to the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Alabama Health Libraries Association. This year the meeting will be held in concert with the annual meeting of the Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association in Birmingham, AL, September 23-26. The theme of the SCMLA meeting this year is “Strike While the Iron is Hot: Forging Ideas, Connections, and Community.”
Schedule
The ALHeLA Annual Business Meeting will be tentatively held Friday, September 25, from 8-9 am at a to-be-determined location in or near the meeting venue. Breakfast will be provided.
The annual meeting of the Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association will be held from Wednesday, September 23 to Saturday, September 26 at the Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB. A draft schedule is available on the meeting website.

Registration for the Southern Chapter meeting is available through the SC/MLA Meeting website.
Registration for the ALHeLA breakfast and business meeting is forthcoming. There will be no cost for this year’s meeting, but current members who have yet to pay their dues for the year are invited to use the online payment option.
